Beacon Education Partnership is an established training and development organisation specialising in the Healthcare sector. Beacon has been delivering high quality NVQ programmes, Modern Apprenticeships and Short Courses in a range of different Health and Social care settings since 1998. Starting life as a Preferred Training Provider for University London College Hospital, Beacon has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with the NHS working with the likes of Great Ormond Street Hospital, Mental Health NHS Trust, Lewisham NHS Trust and Guys and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

In 2007 Beacon underwent an expansion, branching off into other areas of within the health care sector. Building on this expansion through brand development and the establishing of important private sector client relationships, the company developed and grew a loyal base of private care providers, community groups and charities around the country which we continue to serve today. Alongside our client relationships, Beacon also developed a range of delivery and funding partnerships which lead to Beacon becoming the first private provider to be an endorsed delivery partner of both Skills for Health and Skills for Care.

In 2013, Beacon took the daunting step of expanding overseas, delivering a range of health and vital care courses to clients in China and designing a level 5 Management in Care course specifically aimed at the needs of the Chinese Market.

In 2015, Beacon secured its first direct SFA contract for the delivery of Advance Learning Loans and have since worked with partners to develop a qualification that provides learners with the support, knowledge and roundedness for a career in the Healthcare sector as well as the opportunity to progress on to University study.

In 2017 Beacon was proud to retain its endorsed provider status with Skills for Care and to become a member of the Care Learning Coalition. The Care Learning Coalition  was established by Skills for Care in 2017  as an Endorsement Framework to serve as a mark of quality for the best learning and development in the adult social care sector.

In 2019, Beacon developed an online Health and Social Care course in partnership with Industry Qualifications for students living outside of the UK. Beacon’s new online academy enables international students to study towards and gain a globally recognised UK Health and Social Care qualification from anywhere in the world.
