A new cooperation agreement has been signed today by three innovative SMEs from China and the UK:  Yuan Zhen, Beacon Educational Partnership and

As part of the growing trade links between China and the UK, the agreement will see British quality vocational training standards for elderly care developed and implemented in the Chinese elderly care sector. All three companies hope to achieve the shared vision of raising the standards of elderly care in China and ensuring that both the elderly and people with diverse needs have access to the highest quality care.

The cooperation brings together:

Yuan Zhen continue to invest significantly in China’s professional elder care business with the target of establishing a comprehensive service network in most large Chinese cities over the following 3 to 5 years. The network will consist of a large number of franchised healthcare management centres, nursing and social worker stations, retirement compounds and care homes that will provide various level of care for the elderly. Having already secured an initial investment for this project, through its subsidiary, the Edward Centre for healthcare research, Yuan Zhen are working with TrusTECH (a NHS innovation hub) and other UK research organisations to develop an advanced operational management system for elder care in China. In order to ensure that they can achieve their long-term strategic objectives, Yuan Zhen sees that cooperation with Beacon Educational Partnership and will help to enhance the business performance as well as the international profile of the venture.
